Philmont man arrested for stealing vehicle

Philmont, New York – On October 28, 2018, the New York State Police from the Livingston barracks arrested Joshua R. Charron, age 21, of Philmont, for Grand Larceny in the 3rddegree, a class D felony.
On October 28, 20187, at approximately 9:00 a.m., Troopers responded to Main Street in Philmont for a report of a stolen vehicle. An investigation found Charron stole a 2013 GMC Terrain from a victim known to him.
Charron was arraigned before the town of Claverack Court, and remanded to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond. Charron is next scheduled to appear before Philmont Court on November 2, 2018, at 4:30 p.m.
