Woodbury, NY – On October 28, 2018, at approximately 8:58 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-87, in the town of Woodbury for vehicle and traffic violations.  During the interviewing of the driver Sarah K. Brophy, age 28, of Red Hook, NY, for the vehicle and traffic violations probable cause to search the vehicle and its occupants was established. During the subsequent search of driver and the passenger Patrick L. Lebon, age 38, of Poughkeepsie, NY, approximately 66 grams Cocaine, approximately 29 grams of Crack Cocaine, approximately 1 gram of Marihuana, 4 Suboxone strips, and a smoking pipe containing burnt crack cocaine residue were all located. Both subjects were taken into custody, transported and processed at SP Newburgh, where they were subsequently charged with:

  • Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree; a Class B Felony (with intent to sell) 2 counts Brophy only
  • Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree; a Class B Felony (narcotic drug) 2 counts Brophy only
  • Criminal Possession of Controlled Substance in the 7th degree; a Class A Misdemeanor (both Brophy and Lebon)
  • Unlawful Possession of Marihuana; a Violation (Lebon only)
  • Criminal Impersonation in the 2nd degree; a Class A Misdemeanor (Lebon only)
  • Controlled Substance not in Original Container; a Violation (Lebon and Brophy)
  • Vehicle and Traffic Violations; (Brophy only)

On October 29, 2018 both Brophy and Lebon were arraigned in the Town of Woodbury Court. No bail or return court date information available at this
