UPDATE: State Police are investigating a hit and run in the town of Goshen

State Police Monroe arrested Louis Riso, age 84 of Goshen, NY for the hit and run that occurred on October 17, 2018 in the town of Goshen. Mr Riso turned himself in at the Monroe State Police Barracks. He was charged with Leaving the Scene of a Serious Personal Injury Accident (Felony). He is scheduled to return to Goshen Town Court on October 29, 2018 at 1 p.m.

The New York State Police are investigating a hit and run on that occurred on October 17, 2018 at approximately 11 a.m. A personal injury accident occured at the intersection of Craigville Road and Hasbrouck Road in the town of Goshen. A bicyclist was struck by a Dodge Ram pick-up truck.  The pick-up fled the scene in an unknown direction.

The victim is Brendan Dwyer, age 51, of Monroe, NY.  Dwyer suffered multiple fractures to his body. He was transported to Orange Regional Medical Center in critical condition.

State Police are looking for a Dodge Ram Truck, unknown model and color. There will be heavy damage to passenger side mirror and door.
