Beacon man charged with providing false information to Department of Motor Vehicle

PRESS RELEASE

Beacon, New York – On March 31, 2015, The New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation from the Wappinger barracks charged David Clark, 52 years old, of Beacon, New York, with two counts of Offering a False Instrument for Filing 1st Degree, a Class E Felony, and two counts of Falsifying Business Records, a Class E Felony.

Following a joint investigation conducted by the State Police and New York State Department of Motor Vehicles it was discovered that Clark made false statements on an application to obtain a New York State driver’s license in May of 2014 and in March of 2015.

Clark was arraigned before the City of Beacon Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or bond. He is scheduled to return to the City of Beacon Court on April 1, 2015.
