State Police Arrest Fugitive From Pennsylvania

State Troopers from the Kinderhook barracks in Troop K, Columbia County on routine patrol on March 31, 2015 stopped a motorist for utilizing her cell phone while driving.
Subsequent investigation revealed the operator, identified a Sandy Diehl, 29 of Philmont and formerly of Marletta, PA was wanted as a Fugitive from Lancaster County, PA. Diehl was wanted for failing to appear on charges of Driving Under the Influence and Reckless Driving in Pennsylvania.
Diehl was arraigned in the Town of Claverack Court as a Fugitive From Justice and remanded to the Columbia County Jail where she is awaiting extradition proceedings being handled by the Columbia County DA, Hon. Paul Czajka’s Office.
