Highland, NY man arrested for Endangering the Welfare of an Incompetent or Physically Disabled Person

On September 11, 2018, State Police at Highland charged Jamey A. Lord age 33 of Poughkeepsie NY with the following charges:

Endangering the Welfare of an Incompetent or Physically Disabled Person – Class A Misdemeanor and Criminal Obstruction of Breathing – Class A Misdemeanor

The arrest of Lord was the result of an investigation into a complaint at the New Horizons Facility in Plattekill, where Jamey Lord was employed.

He was released to appear in the Town of Plattekill Town Court on October 1, 2018, at 4 p.m.

State Police at Highland was assisted by The Ulster County District Attorney’s Office and the New York State Justice Center during the investigation.
