Brooklyn man charged with entering Fishkill Correctional Facility with synthetic marihuana

PRESS RELEASE

Fishkill, New York – On March 29, 2015, New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation from the Wappinger barracks arrested Jeremy Brown, 28 years old, of Brooklyn, New York, for Promoting Prison Contraband 2nd Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.

Troopers were dispatched to the Fishkill Correctional Facility to assist the Department of Corrections and Community Supervision with the arrest of a visitor who entered the facility with synthetic Marihuana. Brown was transported to the Wappinger barracks where he was processed on the above charges.

The New York State Police were assisted by the NYS DOCCS Office of Special Investigations.

Brown was issued an appearance ticket directing him to appear before the Town of Fishkill Court on April 8, 2015.
