Albany man arrested on the Thruway in Woodbury for felony drug possession

PRESS RELEASE
Woodbury, NY – On March 29, 2015 at approximately 5:20 p.m. State Police stopped a vehicle on I-87 for a Vehicle and Traffic violation. The driver, Jeremy T. Bowers, 29 of Albany, NY was found to be in possession of more than 25 grams cocaine. Further investigation revealed a small quantity of marijuana inside the vehicle.
Bowers was arrested and processed at SP Newburgh for the following charges:
Criminal Possession Controlled Substance 3rd degree Class B Felony
Unlawful Possession Marijuana Violation
He was arraigned in Newburgh Town Court and was remanded to Orange County Jail on $4500 bail.
