PRESS RELEASE

On March 27th, 2015, the members of the New York State Police, Troop F, at SP Ellenville, announce the arrest of a male for stealing money in Town of Rochester N.Y.
Arrested was John J. Shultis, age 34, of Saugerties, New York who was charged with Grand Larceny 3rd a Felony.

The New York State Police conducted an investigation into the theft of a down payment for home improvement work. John J. Shultis took $13,500.00 over the course of one month from a homeowner in the Town of Rochester. Shultis took the money and never performed the promised work and did not return the money he took even after an extensive period of time.

John Shultis was arrested and processed at SP Ellenville. He was arraigned in the Town of Rochester Court before Town Justice Albert Babcock and was released on his own recognizance to reappear in the Town of Rochester Court on April 1st, 2015 at 6:00pm.
