State Police in Troop F remove twenty-six impaired drivers from the roadway over the weekend of July 27-29, 2018

On July 27, 2018, State Police Roscoe arrested James Sanders, 46, of Smallwood, NY for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 17B in the town of Thompson when he was stopped at New York State Police sobriety checkpoint. An interview of the operator of the vehicle determined that he was impaired by alcohol. He was was subsequently arrested.

On July 27, 2018, State Police Haverstraw arrested Lewis Baldera, 28, of Teaneck, NJ for DWI. He was traveling on the Palisades Interstate Parkway in the town of Clarkstown when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.

On July 28, 2018, State Police Montgomery arrested Carly Dicapua, 21, of Highland, NY for DWI. She was traveling on State Route 9W in the town of Newburgh when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.

On July 28, 2018, State Police Liberty arrested Gene Bossert, 63, of Youngsville, NY for DWAI Drugs. He was traveling on Swiss Hill Road in the town of Callicoon when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by drugs and was subsequently arrested.

On July 29, 2018, State Police Catskill arrested Valkiem Vinot-Lacoste, 32, of New Paltz, NY for DWI. He was traveling in the village of New Paltz when a passenger in his vehicle kicked out a window. Vinot-Lacoste called 911 to report that his vehicle was vandalized. Troopers arrived and upon invterviewing, the operator of the vehicle determined that he was impaired by alcohol and he was subsequently arrested.

On July 30, 2018, State Police Middletown arrested Lauren Stack, 20, of wurtsboro, NY for DWI. She was traveling on State Route 17 in the town of Wallkill when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
