MILLBROOK – Josephine A. Carrazzone, 87 of Millbrook, died suddenly on Monday, March 23,2015 at her residence. Born in Poughkeepsie on December 16, 1927, she was the daughter of Hubert and Mary Ellen Cox.
Josephine attended Poughkeepsie schools and was employed by Wallace’s Department Store and M. Shwartz & Co., both in Poughkeepsie. She was married to Fernando L. Carrazzone who has predeceased her.
Josephine is survived by her nieces; Helen K. Thomas of Jacksonville, Fl., and Loren Carrazzone Kelly of Millbrook; nephew, Louis V. Carrazzone III of Saratoga Springs,NY; grandnephew, James Michael Thomas, Jr. of Yulee, Fl.; and grandnieces, Colleen Lesoine of Millbrook, Kathleen Jenkins of Middleburgh and Julianne Koenig of New Paltz. She was predeceased by her sister, Helen Castle and brothers, Paul Cox, James Cox and Douglas Cox.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 31 from 9-10:30 am at, 3270 Franklin Ave., Millbrook. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday at 11am from St. Joseph’s Church, Millbrook. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Millbrook.
