Two Columbia County men arrested for possessing
stolen credit card

Greenport, New York – On July 19, 2018, the New York State Police from the Livingston barracks arrested Jason T. Summers, age 23, of Chatham, NY, and on July 27, 2018, Tevin VanNess, age 20, of Ghent, for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 4th degree, a class E felony.
The two Columba County men were arrested after a month-long investigation conducted by SP Livingston. Summers and VanNess were found to have made purchases at several retail stores using a stolen credit card.
Summers was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the town of Greenport Court on July 23, 2018, at 3:30 p.m. VanNess was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the town of Ghent Court on August 13, 2018, at 6:00 p.m.
