Ten motorists removed from the road for Driving While Impaired

On July 16, 2018, State Police Middletown arrested Iris Benitez, 31 of Boston, MA for DWI. She was traveling on State Route 17 in the town of Wallkill when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.

On July 16, 2018, State Police Hamptonburg arrested Victor Arrieta, 33 of Pine Bush, NY for DWI. He was traveling on Interstate 84 in the town of Wallkill when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.

On July 16, 2018, State Police Liberty arrested Yovanni Fields, 28 of Monticello, NY for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 17 in the town of Thompson when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.

On July 16, 2018, State Police Coxsackie arrested Jason Fisk, 44 of Athens, NY for DWI. Troopers responded to a 911 call of a motorcycle crash on Medway Earlton Road in the town of Coxsackie. Upon arrival, troopers observed Fisk lying on the ground with his helmet removed. He was transported to Albany Medical Center via EMS. Further investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and he was subsequently arrested.

On July 16, 2018, State Police Catskill arrested Todd Melanson, 49 of Cobleskill, NY for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 23 in the town of Catskill when he was involved in a motor vehicle crash. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and in possession of marihuana. He was arrested for DWI and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana.

On July 16, 2018, State Police Kingston arrested Chance Falsetta, 24 of Lake Katrine, NY for DWAI Drugs. He was traveling on Oniel Street in the city of Kingston when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by drugs and in possession of PCP. He was arrested for DWAI Drugs and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree.

On July 16, 2018, State Police Kingston arrested Katherine Kondrat, 30 of Kingston, NY for DWI. She was traveling in the city of Kingston when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.

On July 16, 2018, State Police Kingston arrested Sean Beck, 45 of Saugerties, NY for DWI. He was traveling on County Route 34 in the town of Kingston when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.

On July 17, 2018, State Police Highland arrested Jose Contreras, 33 of Freeport, NY for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 9W in the town of Lloyd when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
