Vincent A. Cerchiara, 69, of Poughquag, NY died peacefully after a 3 year battle with cancer on Wednesday, June 13, 2018. He was born in the Bronx on November 9, 1948, to Frank and Concetta Cerchiara. Before working for 35 years he served in the Armed Forces. He is survived by the love his life, Lee, whom he married on April 26, 1980, his 2 sisters Lorraine Cerchiara and Diane Caporale (Dennis), nephew Matthew Caporale, niece Erica Villani (Ernie), and great nieces Victoria and Valerie. His mother-in-law Rita Casali, sisters-in-law Joanne Yusko (Gary) Michele Cirillo (Charles) and their children “The Twins” Doreen and Paul. Funeral services will take place at Yorktown Funeral Home on Friday, June 15th from 4 to 8 pm. A funeral mass will take place on Saturday, June 16th at 10 am at Church of the Holy Spirit. Entombment to follow Rosehill Memorial Park Putnam Valley, NY.
