Livingston man arrested for selling heroin

PRESS RELEASE

Livingston, New York – On June 7, 2018, the New York State Police from the Livingston Barracks in conjunction with the State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team Capital region, and Columbia County District Attorney’s Office arrested Gerell Young Jr., age 22, of Livingston, for two counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the 2nddegree, class A-II felonies.

An investigation began earlier in the year determined Young was selling heroin in Columbia County.  With the assistance of the Columbia County District Attorney’s Office a warrant was obtained for the arrest of Young, and executed on June 7, 2018.

Young was arraigned before the Columbia County Supreme Court, and remanded to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or bond.
