Delaware County New York man arrested for driving while intoxicated.

On June 6th, 2018 New York State Police, Liberty Troopers arrested William Kauffman, 56 for driving while intoxicated on State Route 17 in Sullivan County.  After Troopers received a 911 call for an erratic operator, responding Troopers observed Mr. Kauffman operating his vehicle in violation of several vehicle and traffic laws.  A traffic stop of Mr. Kauffman’s vehicle and subsequent investigation found him to be operating at more than twice the legal limit.  Mr. Kauffman was transported to the SP Liberty barracks where he was processed for Driving While Intoxicated and issued several tickets.

Mr. Kauffman is to appear in the Town of Rockland Court on July 5, 2018, at 3:00 p.m. before Town Justice Feinberg.
