DCC Offers Hybrid Business Classes to Serve Busy Adults

Open House June 5

May 29, 2018 – To better serve the needs of adults returning to school, Dutchess Community College will launch a Four-in-Two Business Track in August that enables students to complete four courses per semester by attending classes only two nights a week, with continued learning taking place online. By the end of the first year, students can obtain 26 credits.

Classes begin Aug. 28 and will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-9 p.m. at DCC’s main campus in Poughkeepsie.  An open house for those interested in this opportunity will be held June 5 at 6 p.m.on the main campus, 53 Pendell Road, Poughkeepsie. To register, visit http://www.sunydutchess.edu/businessfasttrack.

Lillianette Peralta, an adult student who graduated from DCC’s business program in May, urges others to follow her path. “My daughter said, ‘Why don’t you just go back and finish what you didn’t finish because you stopped to raise me?’ I came to DCC for a visit and just loved it.”

For those who cannot attend the open house, contact Michael Roe at michael.roe@sunydutchess.edu or (845) 431-8010.
