The New York State responded to the Astor Home for Children and Families on Mill Street in the Village of Rhinebeck for a report of an Astor Home staff member using physical force with a service recipient.  An investigation found Nesheiwat threw a child less than thirteen-years-old to the ground and was subsequently arrested.

Nesheiwat was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Village of Rhinebeck Court on May 10, 2018, at 4:00 p.m.
