Yorktown Heights couple arrested on drug charges

The New York State Police at Haverstraw announce the arrest of Christopher Moura, age 28, and Cynthia Moura, age 34, both of Yorktown Heights, NY for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th Degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degreee.
The defendants were arrested for possession of heroin and cocaine subsequent to a traffic stop on Interstate 87 in the town of Clarkstown. Christopher Moura was additionally charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs. Both were remanded to the Rockland County Jail in lieu of $10,000.00 cash bail.
