Stephen King, 68, Lifelong resident of Wassaic N.Y. passed away April 3, 2018, after his heroic battle with cancer.
He was born in Hartford, CT. October 29,1949, the son of the late Leona and Pat Carol, he attended Webutuck school, served in the military during Vietnam war and worked for Taconic DDSO.
Steve was a big fan of the Mets and Jeff Gordon, and playing words with friends.
He is survived by his sisters Nancy (Rodney) Richards of Dover Plains, Patty (Dick) Christiansen of Amenia, NY., Linda Barnhart of Delhi N.Y. Brother Roger (Frani) Carol of Daytona Beach, FL. Steve was predeceased by brother Jerry and sister Sandy.
Graveside service will be held May 21st at 11 am at Amenia Island Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to http://www.woundedwarriorsproject.org.
