Connecticut man attempts to obtain a NY vehicle title with fraudulent paperwork

PRESS RELEASE

Elmsford, New York – On May 1, 2018, the New York State Police from the Hawthorne barracks arrested Ahmed M. Aied, age 24, of Windsor, CT, for Filing a False Instrument in the 1st degree, a class E felony, and Falsifying Business Records in the 2nd degree, a class A misdemeanor.

On May 1, 2018, New York State Department of Motor Vehicles Investigators, and State Police Investigators discovered Aied supplied a forged receipt of vehicle repair while attempting to gain a salvaged title.

Aied was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Village of Elmsford Court on May 23, 2018, at 9:30 AM.
