Off-duty correctional officer charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated

On Monday, April 30, 2018, State Police arrested Brad C. Ingraham, 40 of Greenville, NY for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated-Leandra’s Law

At 9 p.m. state police responded to a single vehicle property damage accident in the area SR 81 and School House Road in the town of Durham. Upon arrival, the trooper observed a vehicle off the road. The driver was identified as Brad C. Ingraham along with two minors as passengers. Ingraham suffered a laceration to his head and was treated at the scene by Durham EMS. The two minors were not injured.

An investigation revealed that Ingraham, an off-duty correctional officer, was impaired by alcohol. He was arrested at the scene and transported to the state police barracks in Catskill for processing. He provided a breath sample resulting in a .27% Blood Alcohol Content (BAC).

Ingraham was arraigned in the town of Durham Court where he was arraigned in front of Judge Kennedy for DWI Leandra’s Law, a felony. and other charges. He was released on his own recognizance with a return date May 21, 2018, at 4:40 p.m.
