City of Poughkeepsie Resident Charged with Felony DWI & AUO in Poughkeepsie

On March 31st, 2018 at approximately 1:31 am a Dutchess County deputy sheriff observed a 2013 Chevrolet with an equipment violation being operated on Main St in the City of Poughkeepsie.   The vehicle was subsequently stopped on South Cherry St after which it was determined that the operator Konstance C. Parker (25 yoa) of Poughkeepsie, NY was intoxicated.

Konstance Parker was arrested and charged with DWI & Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 1st both felonies, operating without a Court Ordered Ignition Interlock Device a misdemeanor as well as other traffic infractions.   The DWI charge was a felony due to her having a prior DWI conviction within the prior ten years, on February 24, 2017, in the City of Poughkeepsie.  The AUO charge was a felony due to Parker’s License being revoked for a DWI related offense and she was intoxicated while operating the vehicle. Additionally, she also had another revocation and a suspension on her license as well.

Parker was released and is scheduled to appear in City of Poughkeepsie Court on April 16, 2018, at 9:00 am.
