Peekskill woman arrested for burglary

PRESS RELEASE

Cortlandt, New York – March 30, 2018, the New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested Brittany Wilson, age 28, of Peekskill, NY, for Burglary in the 2nd degree, a class C felony, and Criminal Mischief in the 3rd degree, a class E felony.

On March 23, 2018, at approximately 6:30 p.m., Troopers responded to Albany Post Road in the town of Cortlandt for a report of a burglary.  An investigation determined Wilson illegally entered a dwelling of a person known to her.  Wilson destroyed three televisions then stole shoes, a designer bag, and personal care items belonging to the victim.  After determining the identity of the suspect, Investigators located and arrested Wilson in Bronx, NY.

Wilson was arraigned before the town of Cortlandt Court and remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
