Fallsburg Man arrested for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated

On March 30, 2018, State Police at Liberty charged Jesse W. Kinney, 48, of Fallsburg with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana. While on patrol, Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a black Hyundai Santa Fe for tinted windows, crossing double yellow lines and other traffic violations on State Route 52 in the Town of Liberty. While interviewing Kinney, an odor of an alcoholic beverage was emanating from his breath. An odor of marihuana was also emanating from the vehicle. Upon conducting a vehicle search, approximately 4.3 grams of marihuana were located and seized. Kinney was placed under arrest and transported to SP Liberty. At SP Liberty, Kinney provided a breath sample showing a .20% blood alcohol concentration. Jonas was processed without incident and released to a sober third party. Kinney is scheduled to appear in the Town of Liberty Court on April 3, 2018, at 10:00 am.
