Millbrook man arrested for committing a criminal sexual act at work

Washington, New York – On March 21, 2018, the New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested Curtis J. Shultz, age 59, of Millbrook, NY, for Criminal Sexual Act in the 1^st degree, a class B felony.

On March 12, 2018, Troopers responded to Old Route 82 in the town of Washington for a report of sexual assault at the Green Briar Adult Home.  An investigation found that Shultz committed a criminal sexual act upon a non-consenting victim while employed at the facility.

Shultz was arraigned before the town of Washington Court, and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.  An order of protection was requested for and granted in favor of the victim.
