Bloomingburg Woman Arrested for Driving While Intoxicated

On March 24th, 2018, State Police at Wurtsboro charged Lea C. Farrell, 43, of Bloomingburg, NY with Driving While Intoxicated. Troopers initiated a traffic stop on a black Kia Spectra with a loud exhaust in the town of Mamakating. While interviewing Farrell, Troopers detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from her breath. Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were administered, which she subsequently failed. Farrell was placed under arrest and transported to SP Wurtsboro, where she provided a breath sample showing a .09% blood alcohol concentration. She was processed and released with an appearance ticket, to appear in the town of Mamakating Court on April 12^th, 2018 at 9:00 am.
