Fishkill armed robbery under investigation

The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office reports the investigation into a gas station robbery which occurred in the Town of Fishkill at approximately 11:30 pm on 2/26/18.

On the above date and time Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the Gulf gas station on Route 9D in Fishkill for a report an armed robbery. Further investigation revealed that a lone male came into the store, displayed a handgun, and left on foot after stealing approximately $300 from the clerk. Upon police arrival the suspect was gone, and a K-9 track yielded negative results. The clerk was uninjured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a light skinned male, approx. 5’9”, skinny build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and armed with a black pistol. The suspect was last seen leaving the station on foot heading north on Route 9D, and anyone with information is urged to contact Detective Kate Capalbo at (845) 486-3829.
