Maria C. Ostorga passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at her home in Patterson, NY. She was 92.
Born on May 1, 1925 in San Salvador, El Salvador to Abraham Hernandez and Maria N. Ostorga, Maria came to this country 37 years ago.
Maria loved dancing and singing, acoustic guitar, and crocheting.
Maria is survived by her son Jose Ostorga of Bayonne, NJ; her daughter Ana Marina Herrera and her husband Jose Herrera-Rogel of Patterson, NY; a sister, Rosa Ordonez of Union City, NJ; eight grandchildren, Joseph H. Herrera and his wife Kimberly, Jean G. Herrera and his wife Janet, Andrew A. Herrera and his wife Elyssa Clayton, Elian J. Ostorga and his wife Paola, Christian Navarro, Christian Ostorga, Angela Romero, and Paul Gonzalez; and four great-grandchildren, Adrian & Kylie Herrera and Marcus & Mariah Concepcion.
Family and friends may call at the Horn & Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling, NY Saturday, February 24, 2018 5-9 PM, with a service at 8:30.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
