Pleasant Valley man arrested for cocaine and crack possession

Lagrange, New York – On February 1, 2018, the New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested Joseph M. Rogers Jr., age 34, of Pleasant Valley, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree with Intent to sell, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, both B felonies, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th degree, both class A misdemeanors.
On February 1, 2018, at approximately 10:20 p.m., Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a 2008 Nissan Altima traveling on Route 55 in the town of Lagrange for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation found Rogers to be in possession of approximately 20.8 grams of cocaine, 16.8 grams of crack-cocaine, and a small amount of Hydrocodone.
Rogers was arraigned before the town of Lagrange Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $100,000 cash bail or $200,000 bond.
