Mamaroneck man arrested for possession of controlled substances

Mamaroneck, New York – On February 6, 2018, the New York State Police from the Hawthorne barracks, Hudson Valley Community Narcotics Enforcement Team, Homeland Security Investigations’ (HIS) Border Enforcement Security Task Force, and the New York City Police Department Narcotics arrested Maurice Goldentaier, age 34, of Mamaroneck, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th degree with Intent to Sell, a class D felony, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree, a class A misdemeanor.
An investigation conducted with the assistance of the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office led to the execution of a search warrant of a residence on Fairway Green in the Village of Mamaroneck. Goldentaier was found to be in possession of a quantity of a controlled substance identified as Gamma-Butyrolactone, commonly known as GBL, with intent to sell. Goldentaier was additionally found to possess a small quantity of methamphetamine.
Goldentaier was arraigned before the village of Mamaroneck Court and released on his own recognizance.
