Five motorists arrested for driving while impaired

On January 31, 2018, State Police Wurtsboro arrested Andrew Katz, 26, of Monticello, NY for DWAI Drugs. He was traveling on Wurtsboro Mountain Road in the town of Mamakating when he was stopped for a V&T violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by drugs and was subsequently arrested.
On January 31, 2018, State Police Highland arrested Donald Parker Jr., 44, of Highland, NY for DWI. Troopers responded to a one car motor vehicle accident of a truck into a tree on Lily Lake Road in the town of Lloyd. The operator of the vehicle was treated by EMS and transported to a local hospital. During the course of the investigation it was determined that the operator of the vehicle was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
On January 31, 2018, State Police Catskill arrested Steven Weidanz, 59, of Earlton, NY for DWI. He was traveling on Sandy Plains Road in the town of Catskill when he was stopped for a V&T violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
On February 1, 2018, State Police Kingston arrested Linda Winnick, 49, of Kingston, NY for DWI. She was traveling on State Route 28 in the town of Kingston when she was stopped for a V&T violation. An investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
On February 1, 2018, State Police Montgomery arrested Anthony Burnett, 37, of Newburgh, NY for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 32 in the town of Newburgh when he was stopped for a V&T violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
