Clinton man arrested for grand larceny and forgery

Clinton, New York – On January 31, 2018, the New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested Jason M. Conlon, age 37, of Clinton, for Possession of a Forged Instrument in the 2nd degree, and Grand Larceny in the 3rd degree, both class D felonies.

On October 5, 2018, Troopers received a complaint of a larceny on Maple Lane in the town of Clinton.  Investigation determined Conlon forged twelve checks in the victim’s name and stole approximately $47,000 in U.S. currency.

Conlon was arraigned before the town of Clinton Court and released on his own recognizance to the care of his attorney.  Conlon is next scheduled to appear before the court on March 1, 2018, at 5:00 p.m.
