Three arrested for Driving While Intoxicated

On January 18, 2018, State Police Liberty, arrested Steven Towt, 27, of Liberty, NY for DWI. He was traveling on County Route 103 in the town of Thompson when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.

On January 18, 2018, State Police Coxsackie, arrested Tyler Deshaw, 24, of Grand Rapids, MI for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 9W in the town of New Baltimore when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.

On January 18, 2018, State Police Coxsackie, arrested John Gent, 40, of Leeds, NY for DWI. Troopers observed Leeds asleep in his car on the side of the road on County Route 23 in the town of Catskill. Troopers had him transported by EMS to Catskill Memorial Hospital for evaluation. While at the hospital it was determined that Leeds was impaired by alcohol. He refused medical treatment and was turned over to state police. He was then arrested and processed for DWI.
