Bronx man arrested for throwing urine and feces at a Corrections Officer

Fishkill, New York – On January 17, 2018, the New York State Police from the Wappinger barracks arrested Chico Rivera, age 30, of Brooklyn, New York, for Aggravated Harassment of an Employee by an Inmate, a class E felony.
An investigation indicated that on March 22, 2017, while Chico Rivera was incarcerated at the Downstate Correctional Facility, he threw urine and feces at a uniformed Correction Officer.
Rivera was arraigned at the Town of Fishkill Court, and his next appearance was scheduled for February 21, 2018, at 9:00 a.m. Rivera remained in the custody of the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision.
