Wappinger, New York – On January 17, 2018 the New York State Police from the Wappinger barracks arrested Daniel P. Lorenzini, age 29, of Fishkill, for Burglary in the 3rddegree, and Criminal Mischief in the 2nd degree, both class D felonies.

On January 17, 2018, at approximately 5:40 a.m., Troopers were dispatched to the Valvoline garage on Route 9 in the town of Wappinger for a report of a burglary in progress.  The investigation revealed Lorenzini who worked at the garage was inside illegally, then damaged a door and additional property attempting to leave after being observed by the plow contractor.

Lorenzini was arraigned before the village of Wappingers Falls Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail and $50,000 bond.  Lorenzini is next scheduled to appear before the town of Wappinger Court on January 18, and 5:30 p.m.
