Coxsackie arrested for drug sales

PRESS RELEASE
On January 12, 2018, State Police at Catskill arrested George Winegard, age 44, of Coxsackie, N.Y. on a warrant charging him with 3 counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree and 3 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree (both Class B Felonies).
The arrest was the result of a six month long investigation into sales of Fentanyl in the town of Coxsackie.
The investigation was conducted by the State Police, The Greene County District Attorney’s Office and the Greene County Sheriff’s Office.
Winegard was committed to the Greene County Jail and is awaiting his arraignment in County Court.
