Obituary, Etheric “Ricki” May Harrington

Etheric “Ricki” May Harrington, age 75, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 5, 2018 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY surrounded by her loving family and long-time companion.

Ricki was born on April 19, 1942 in Mount Vernon, NY. She was a resident of Pawling, NY for several years where she worked as a school bus driver for Pawling Central School District. Because of her active role in the school district, she was known and loved by many throughout the community and established lifelong relationships with many teachers and students. Her role at the school district also allowed her to work full-time, while providing loving care to her family.

Ricki’s special interests included raising a family and she had a special devotion to attending her children’s extra-curricular activities. Some of her favorite memories included summer vacations at Wildwood Beach, NJ, where she enjoyed time with her family for many years. Ricki is survived by her children, grandchildren and devoted long-time companion.

Family and friends whose lives Ricki touched are invited to the Jesse Lee United Methodist Church at 207 Main St., Ridgefield, CT at 3pm on Saturday, January 13, to celebrate her life.

Ricki’s family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at the Vassar Brothers Medical Center for their attentiveness and compassionate care.
