Wappinger man arrested for order of protection violation

Wappinger, New York – On January 3, 2018, the New York State Police from the Wappinger barracks arrested Michael P. Kelly, age 55, of Wappinger, for Criminal Contempt in the 2nddegree, a class A misdemeanor.
An investigation indicated that on December 16, 2017, Michael Kelly engaged in conduct that violated a duly served order of protection.
Kelly was arraigned before the Village of Wappingers Falls court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $2,500.00 cash or $5,000.00 secured bond. Kelly is next scheduled to appear before the Town of Wappinger Court on January 4, 2018, at 5:30 p.m.
