Amenia man arrested for identity theft and larceny

Stanford, New York – The New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested Thomas E. Justry, age 21, of Amenia, NY, for nine counts of Identity Theft in the 2nddegree, Grand Larceny in the 4th degree, both class E felonies, and Unlawful Possession of Personal Identification in the 3rd degree, a class A misdemeanor.

Investigation found that over the course of a month Justry fraudulently used the debit card of a person known to him to make automatic-teller-machine withdrawals.  Multiple withdrawals on multiple dates were completed totaling to $349.50 in US currency stolen.

Justry was issued the appropriate Appearance Tickets to the town of Stanford Court on December 27, 2017, at 4:00 p.m., and the town of Amenia Court on January 2, 2018, at 7:00 p.m.
