PRESS RELEASE

 

Southeast, New York – On November 22, 2017, the New York State Police from the Brewster barracks arrested Earl J. Allen, age 26, of Bronx, NY, for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 4th Degree, a Class E Felony, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 3rd Degree, an Unclassified Misdemeanor, and multiple vehicle and traffic infractions.Troopers stopped Allen for vehicle and traffic violations on Interstate 84 in the Town of Southeast at approximately 12:52 AM.  Investigation during the stop found the 2017 Dodge Caravan was reported as stolen from Illinois, and Allen was wanted for arrest by the New York City Police Department.  Allen was also found to be in possession of suspicious credit cards and money orders, as well as having a suspended license.

Allen was arraigned before the Town of Southeast Justice Court and remanded to the Putnam County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash bail or $30,000 bond.
