SP Poughkeepsie – Millbrook woman arrested for Endangering Children

Millbrook, New York – On October 22, 2017 the State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested Danielle Hughes, age 38, of Millbrook, for Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a Class A Misdemeanor.
Troopers arrested Hughes on October 8, 2017 for possession of cocaine and was remanded to the Dutchess County Jail by the Town of Pleasant Valley Justice Court. Hughes told Troopers that she had secured a babysitter prior to leaving the house that evening to care for her children. Troopers however were contacted by Hughes’ former husband who stated he found the children outside of the residence searching for their mother.
Hughes was issued an appearance ticket after returnable to the Town of Washington Justice Court on November 28, 2017, at 5:00 PM.
