Livingston, New York – On October 2, 2017 the New York State Police from the Livingston barracks arrested Jim Williams, age 80, of Livingston, for Menacing with a Weapon in the 2nd Degree, and Reckless Endangerment in the 2nd Degree, both Class A Misdemeanors.

Troopers responded to a landlord tenant dispute on County Route 10 in the Town of Livingston.  Williams had engaged in an argument with his tenants and then produced a rifle.  Investigation revealed Williams pointed the rifle at the victim, and then fired one shot towards an adjacent wooded area.

Williams was arraigned before the Town of Livingston Justice Court and released on his own recognizance scheduled to reappear on October 19, 2017 at 6:00 PM.  An Order of Protection was also served on Williams in favor of the victim.
