The Pawling Shakespeare Club was pleased to welcome Daniel Hasse as its guest speaker on Monday, September 25th at the John Kane House. Mr. Hasse is a writer, director and teacher specializing in the works of William Shakespeare. He was Assistant Director of the world premiere of the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival’s production of The Book of Will this past summer. He teaches courses on Shakespeare at NYU and has returned for a second year to teach a class on Shakespeare at a charter school in Mount Vernon, NY. Mr. Hasse has many directing and teaching credits to his name including Julius Caesar, Romeo and Juliet, The Winter’s Tale and Henry VI, Part 3. He has worked with Shakespeare in The Square, American Shakespeare Center and the Actors Studio. His interpretation and insights on Julius Caesar, our Club’s fall selection, were interesting and informative.

The Pawling Shakespeare Club thanks Daniel Hasse for taking time out from his busy schedule to visit with us.
