SP Wappinger – Fishkill woman arrested for Endangering the Welfare of a Chiild

On September 17, 2017, the New York State Police from the Wappinger barracks arrested Kelley M. McCann, age 26, of Fishkill, New York, for Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a Class A Misdemeanor.
Troopers responded to a report of a three-year-old child found unattended in a hotel parking lot. It took Troopers over an hour to locate the mother, who was staying in a different hotel. Custody of the child given to a responsible family member. Troopers were assisted at the scene by Child Protective Services and the Village of Fishkill Police Department.
McCann was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Village of Fishkill Justice Court on September 25, 2017, at 9:30 AM.
