Albany woman charged with entering Green Haven Correctional Facility with drugs

PRESS RELEASE
Beekman, New York – On June 25, 2017, New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested 57-year-old Dianne Cooks, of Albany, New York, for Promoting Prison Contraband in the 2nd Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, a Violation.

Cooks reportedly entered Green Haven Correctional Facility to visit an inmate and she was found to possess approximately 5 grams of marihuana.

The New York State Police were assisted by the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision K9 Unit.

Cooks was issued an Appearance Ticket returnable to the Town of Beekman Court on July 20, 2017 at 6:00 p.m.
