New York City, NY woman arrested for DWAI Drugs after traffic stop on I-87, in the Town of Newburgh.

PRESS RELEASE

Newburgh, NY – On June 3, 2017, at approximately 1:16 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-87, in the Town of Newburgh for a vehicle and traffic violation.
During the Trooper’s interview of the driver, Lesley R. Schulhof, age 37, of New York City, NY, she was found to be impaired by drugs. Schulhof was taken into custody and transported to SP Newburgh for processing. While at SP Newburgh, Schulhof was evaluated by a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE), and submitted to further testing to determine the alcohol and or drug content in her system and was subsequently charged with:

  • Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs; an Unclassified Misdemeanor
Schulhof was released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Newburgh Court on June 13, 2017 at 4:00 p.m.
