Tuesday, May 16, 2017 • 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM Pawling Elementary School Gym, 7 Haight St., Pawling, N.Y. 12564 Voter Registration: To be eligible to vote, you must be a U.S. citizen, 18 years of age or older, and a resident of the district for 30 days prior to the vote. If you are registered to vote for a general election, you are registered to vote in all school district elections. Registering with the Board of Elections If you are not registered, you can obtain a mail registration form by calling the Dutchess County Board of Elections at 845-486-2473. A registration form can also be downloaded from the Board of Elections website: http://dutchesselections.com. Forms are also available at most government offices, post offices, and libraries. Complete the form and mail it to the Dutchess County Board of Elections. You may also register in person at 47 Cannon Street, Poughkeepsie. If you have moved to a new address within Dutchess County or if there has been a change to your name, call the Board of Elections for specific instructions. You must be registered by May 9 for the May 16, 2017 vote.
Registering for School Votes Only If you are not registered to vote with the Board of Elections, you may register for the school district vote, on Thursday May 4th at the Elementary School Library. Voter registration will be held from 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm. During voter registration, documents must be presented to the Board of Registration. Acceptable documents are as follows:

Application for Absentee Ballot – Application available here. Please print the application, complete the required information. The Application must be signed and mailed back to the District at 515 Route 22, Pawling, NY 12564 Attn: District Clerk, application must be received at least 7 days before the election if ballot is to be mailed to the voter or you can bring the application to the District Office.
