Distracted Driver and Move Over Law Detail conducted in Westchester County

PRESS RELEASE
  On Tuesday, May 2, 2017, the New York State Police conducted a Distracted Driving and Move Over Law Detail on the Sprain Brook Parkway in Westchester County. During the 6 hour detail Troopers issued a total of 65 tickets and made two arrests.  Tickets issued during the detail are as follows: 19 tickets for cell phone use while driving, 2 tickets for using an electronic device while driving, 4 seatbelt tickets, 6 speeding tickets, 25 tickets for Move Over Law violations, and 9 tickets for other violations.
Also during the detail, Troopers arrested ROSEMARY GANSSLE, age 59, from Nanuet, NY for DWAI-Drugs and her passenger, STEVE EILER, age 61, from Franklin, NY for CPCS 7th.  They were both arrested on the Sprain Brook Parkway in the Town of Greenburgh and are to appear in the Town of Greenburgh court on 5/09/17.
