Ridgewood, NY man arrested for DWI, and possession of (MDA). New Paltz, NY female arrested for Marihuana and Heroin possession.

Cornwall, NY – On April 27, 2017, at approximately 7:43 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on Interstate 87, Town of Cornwall for a speeding violation. During the Trooper’s interview of the driver, Jeremiah Lorenzo, 36, of Ridgewood, NY, he was found to be intoxicated and in possession of .18 grams of (MDA) and 2.3 grams of (MDMA). Lorenzo provided a positive breath sample which returned a reading of .12% BAC. The passenger Cecilia E. Lagodka, 27, of New Paltz, NY was found to have possessed 1.8 grams of Heroin, 7.9 grams of Marihuana and three hypodermic needles. Both were taken into custody, transported and processed at SP Newburgh where they were subsequently charged with:
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 4th Degree; a Class C Felony (Lorenzo)
- Driving While Intoxicated (Lorenzo)
- Vehicle and Traffic Violations (Lorenzo)
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree; a Class A Misdemeanor (Lagodka) 3 counts
- Unlawful Possession of Marijuana (Lagodka)
